After several years of practicing law, and a life-threatening emergency surgery, attorney Nicole Martins finally wrote herself and her husband a will. It wasn’t until after formalizing the will that Nicole realized she needed a much, much, more comprehensive estate plan to protect her children and leave the legacy she desired.
With this realization, Nicole recognized that if an experienced attorney like herself had put off estate planning for so long, there must be thousands of other families doing the same thing.
The Martins Law Firm was founded to provide exceptional legal counseling to families and businesses who, for whatever reason, just haven’t gotten around to making a solid estate plan.
Our top priority is to build a lifelong relationship with you and your family as your trusted legal advisor. We aim to set ourselves apart from traditional estate planning, probate, and business attorneys by providing much more than just legal documents.
Nicole Martins has devoted her entire legal career to assisting individuals and businesses with complicated legal issues during challenging times. Nicole takes pride in her ability to listen and counsel clients to make decisions that are best for them — and she is adamant that there are no “one size fits all” solutions to a client’s needs.
Nicole became a lawyer to make a difference in the lives of her clients. By helping families and business owners make difficult decisions and guide them through the various events that life throws their way, Nicole has found her true purpose in the practice of law. As an estate planning, probate, and business attorney, she looks forward to helping each client create a personalized estate plan or business succession plan and leave a lasting legacy for their loved ones. She finds great reward in being able to give families the peace of mind that comes from having an airtight guardianship plan for children, as well as the confidence that comes from education about asset protection, legacy transfer, and liability exposure. Nicole’s litigation experience gives her a great advantage when advising her business clients on the best strategies for avoiding litigation and staying out of court.
Nicole develops lifelong relationships with her clients, serving as a trusted advisor to them and their families.
She guides her clients to preserve and protect their assets, including their intellectual, spiritual, and human assets.
